Recently received a very curious edition of Solar Lottery by Philip K Dick. An “ancient” 1st edition in polski. Published in Varsovia, 1981. Part of the complete bibliography of this author.

Two-pages Japanese ad. Blade Runner. Text is not readable for me, I know, but I love the look of it with Blade Runner imaginery. It uses what now are classics candid pictures from the movie.

A nice stills collection. B/N snapshots with plenty of details not easy to see in the screen. Take a glance to verify this point. All of the pictures are 10×8 size in photographic print.

Almost there… Two sheets of original blueprints copied. Nice scale to work and read measures. The goal is to build an scale spinner from these blueprints if possible. Let’s see if, together with reference pictures and so on, we are able to do it!

More images to put in the wall. Some drawings, ads, maps, etc. They are plenty of images from Blade Runner and related to hang in the wall. The most difficult task is choosing which ones must be rolled and not framed.

Yeah. I’d finally take pictures of (almost) all my Blade Runner posters. Not an easy task, as anybody knows. But, with a pair of wood sticks, the task was easier. Some are duplicated… well, they will be in my next project to come: an spare copies store!

Finalmente tomé fotografíes de prácticamente todos mis pósters de Blade Runner. No era una tarea fácil, como puede imaginarse. Pero, con un par de listones de madera la cosa fué más sencilla. Not 100% accurated, but very close, this set of birds chess set is the most similar to JF Sebastian chess set. The box contains the moulds to build a complete set with resin. Now, I need the mastery of resin casts to produce a raw set… and then, refine and paint.

No es 100% igual, pero se parece mucho. Este juego de ajedrez de pájaros es muy similar al de JF Sebastian. La caja contiene los moldes de silicona para construir un juego completo con resina. Ahora, sólo falta la maestría para hacer las piezas, pulirlas, pintarlas….

The complete Braun Domino lighter set. Three astrays and one lighter. Very rare and hard to find. But patience has good rewards. Not ever, but sometimes… is a great reward! This set was located thru my automatic search feature in eBay site. When it pops in my mailbox, I was excited. A complete set available? Wow. The previous Domino lighters were an “epic” adventure to be located and won. In this case, the battle was fast and easy.

Juego completo del encendedor Braun Domino. Tres ceniceros y un encendedor. Muy raro y difícil de encontrar. Pero la paciencia tiene buenas recompensas. No siempre, pero a veces… ¡es una buen recompensa! Este juego fué localizado gracias a mis búsquedas automáticas en eBay. Cuando apareció en mi buzón no lo podía creer. ¿Un juego completo disponible? Los encendedores Domino anteriores fueron una auténtica aventura “épica”, tanto para localizarlos como para ganarlos. En este caso, la batalla fue fácil y rápida.

Yeah, just arrived the fourth volume of PKD Selected Letters. A very rare and difficult one. It contains the first period, from 1938 to 1971. Now, the entire collection is in my hands. One year, more or less, to achieve this goal, mmmm…. but that’s the spirit of collectors, I think.
Las cartas de Dick, todas juntas, for fin
Hoy mismo he recibido el cuarto volumen de las Cartas Selectas de PKD. El tomo más difícil de localizar. Contiene el primer periodo, desde 1938 a 1971. Ahora, la colección completa ya está en mis manos. Un año, más o menos, para conseguirlo, mmmmmm….. pero ese es el espíritu del coleccionista, creo yo.
