Joan Fusté

Computist since I have memories.

Yes. After several months with no advance, I’m working hard for the book. The Lost Files book, you know, the Blade Runner props book. At last, I’m collecting all the data from all the available resources I can. Collectors, propmakers, forums, web sites, magazines, books, all I can afford and reach.

Some nice people sent me some stuff yet, as hi-res pictures, data and so on. But I know there are more out, and I can’t contact all of you in a individual way (no contact data, etc). SO…. I call all of you, propmakers, collectors and fans. If you have a screen used prop, a replica, made by you or bought, some interesting data about a particular prop, contact me soon!

Timeline is open, as ever, but my goal will be to have a complete draft next year, as soon as possible. The 30th Anniversary must have a book done!!! And I think this one will be THE book of the year of Blade Runner! (IMHO, at least, for extreme fans… ).

Any suggestion and comment will be welcome! As ever.

Thank you in advance!!

I find an application useless but somewhat curious. Create any word or phrase using the Image Bank on Flickr that are just single letters. Each letter can take hundreds, thousands of forms, and the end result may be such that:

letter D e c. letter K letter A letter R Vintage brick letter D

Curious at least. If one day you’re lacking in creativity, use the following link, type the desired text, and play around with the options until you are satisfied with the result:

Seen in ebay:

1:1 Scale professionally finished Daryl Hannah as a Replicant from Bladerunner Bust
The bust has been finished with real hair and eyelashes for added realism and painted screen accurate!
Limited edition of ten produced by artist DaWolf! Signed and numbered on the back 1 of 10!
As seen in the pictures, bust is flat at the back to allow it to be hanged on the wall for easy storage! Very rare and hard to find piece!
Very impressive piece standing over 14″ high!

I hate this figure. Do you will pay *some* money for it?

Testing multilingual plugins for the complete site.

This is a hazardous task, but I need to do it to serve better all the readers. If you detect some strange behaviour, please report to me here: joanfuste (a) gmail.com

Thank you!

An impressive 3D model of the Deckard’s Blaster is now available in Youtube. The best part of the video is the last sequence, with the blaster in movement. A nice CG work, no doubt.

Yes. Cosmetics, are you talking me about cosmetics? :D
The site is now in black style, after resolving some issues about colors and so on (to preserve the bi-lingual aspect and content as ever).
Minor changes will come in next days or weeks, I guess, to better fit this dark design.

In other order, my Spanish site, Blade-Runner.es will be closed soon, so I’ll post here all the content in it before defunction. Technical reasons and practical ones makes me take this decision. All here. Perhaps TheLostFiles.net will be the next one…

Bi-lingual posts will follow but not in all the cases. When the post or new be only interesting for Spanish audience, the post will be published only in Spanish, and vice-versa.

Stay tuned!

Adoro ' […]
