Una nueva figura desde China, el Blade Hunter. Un nuevo Deckard en escala 1/16″. Bien hecho, excepto, para mí, en los zapatos. Se incluyen dos cabezas, una de ella con marcas de sangre. Dos manos extras. Un reloj de pulsera, un unicornio, la cartera…. pero ¿dónde está la blaster? Un descuido chicos… La caja es de cartón rígido ideal para proteger bien la figura. Ahora sólo falta lanzar el Google y buscar, una vez más, otra blaster…
Here you have some pictures of my new showcase, devoted to the Blade Runner weapons for now… It’s a BERTBY Ikea one. Nine shelves to put in very nice items. In the pictures you may see a Hartford Blaster, Offworld Blaster, a one block resin blaster and then, some COP 357 replicas: two Marushin COP 357, black and silver, and one block resin version.
I planned to put in the showcase the two PKD models from Rick Ross, but unfortunately, they are still unmounted and unpainted…
Una nueva vitrina
Aquí os presento una serie de fotografías de mi nueva vitrina, dedicada a las armas de Blade Runner por el momento… Es un modelo BERBTY de Ikea. Nueve baldas de cristal para colocar buenas piezas. En las fotos se puede ver una blaster Hartford, una Offworld, una de resina maciza así como tres modelos de la COP 357, dos Marushin COP 357 en plateado y negro, y una de resina maciza.
Tenía planeado colocar en la vitrina dos modelos de PKD hechas por Rick Ross, pero desgraciadamente siguen sin montar ni pintar…
Simply but effective. A solution to put your blaster treasure standing up and ready to show for the masses. Andy from Propsummit do it the trick. Some cuts here and there, some sanding… and the stand is ready to go. I put one for each blaster, and everyone works fine! Well, only my unmounted and unfinished resin blaster is hard to maintain at place. But, who cares?

Simple pero fectivo. Una solución para exponer las blasters y mostrarlas al público. Andy, de Propsummit, ha hecho el trabajo. Algunos cortes y un poco de lija… y soporte listo para su uso. He puesto uno en cada blaster y ¡funcionan perfectamente! Bueno, sólo en la blaster sin terminar hay algún problemilla pero es normal. Total… ¿qué más da?

A new blaster has arrived. Marked as M2019 C.S. Blaster model-gun kit, with a japanese cardbox, and MFG HWS legend, this plastic and metal modelgun is really heavy. Metal parts are everywhere, except grips and LED’s circuit case. Includes bullets able to hold fluminant to be fired! A very nice piece IMHO.

Ha llegado una nueva blaster. Marcada como kit M2019 C.S., en un estuche de cartón escrito en japonés, y con la leyenda MFG HWS, este modelo de pistola de plástico y metal es realmente pesado. Es prácticamente metálica toda ella, excepto las culatas y el cajetín del circuito de los LED’s. ¡Incluye balas con la particularidad de poder insertar fuliminantes en su interior para poder ser disparada (fogeo)! Una excelente pieza, si se me permite.

Let’s talk about the different approaches my Fan Book Project could have (for now). My first idea was to publish a selected collection of pictures, some unpublished, some from prop makers, some from private collectors, and so on. All of these pìcs must be related with the proper location of props in the movie. Snapshots tailored to show the exact place, etc. Well, this was the FIRST idea as I said… But…
But, things goes and take form in a way never could thing in the first insight… and this book will be not exception. A second sight about contents showed me that prop topic is vaste and almost impossible to limit… then, a simple categorization appears in my mind:
1. Props used in the screen. Real props.
2. Replicas from real objects in the real world. Objects of normal use that appears in the movie.
3. Replicas made by hobbists, prop makers, casters, artists and so on. Replicas accurate to screen ones.
4. How to identify and find the real props and replicas from real objects.
Well, this 4 points are very extensible… as time goes on and show me.

Leon gun prop received just this week. It’s a Marushin COP 357 replica done by Airsoft. It’s a gas gun, with movable barrel, 4 shots, etc. It’s a nice item for a price. Better than resin replicas. This gun appears as the Leon gun in Blade Runner, but also in Matrix Reloaded, as the gun used by Persephone (Monica Bellucci). It looks better in Monica’s hand! 
La pistola de Leon
Acabo de recibir una réplica de la pistola de Leon esta semana. Se trata de una Marushin COP 357 fabricada por Airsoft. Es una pistola de gas, con barrilete móvil, 4 disparos, etc. Está bien de precio. Mucho mejor que las réplicas de resina. Esta pistola aparece como el arma de Leon en Blade Runner, pero también en Matrix Reloaded, como la pistola usada por Perséfone (Monica Bellucci). ¡Se ve mucho mejor en las manos de Mónica!

My 2nd one. This time is a metal+plastic combo. Red LED working (with battery and internal switch on/off). Barrel opening. Trigger working (main one, second one only move slightly). In general, a good blaster to live with. No bullets and green LED is not working at all, but still nice. I have doubts if is the same some time ago are offered here: http://www.modelguns.co.uk/m2019_blaster.htm but if this model works and fires, is not the same, of course. The logo engraved in the cannon base is the same, but some details are not. I think this one is based in that, slightly simplified.
La pistola
Es mi segunda pistola. Esta vez un modelo de metal y plástico. Funcionan los LED rojos (con una batería y un interruptor on/off internos). El barrilete se abre. Los gatillos funcionan (el principal funciona del todo, el secundario apenas se mueve un poco). En general, una buena pistola con la que convivir. No hay balas y el LED verde no se enciende (ni siquiera está conectado), pero sigue siendo una buena pistola. Tengo dudas de si es el mismo modelo que tiempo atrás se ofrecía en: http://www.modelguns.co.uk/m2019_blaster.htm pero si es emodelo funcoina y dispara, no es la misma, desde luego. El logo grabado en la base del cañon es el mismo, pero algunos detalles no. Creo que este modelo está basado en el que aparece en dicha página, ligeramente simplificado.

6. Fotos del spinner real. El autor las vende de vez en cuando en ebay.
7. DADoES. Otra edición. Colecciono portadas. Pero ya lo sabías, ¿no? XD
