4.4.2. Are all the animals that we see in the movie, artificial?

Most of them probably are – but not necessarily all of them. It makes sense to assume the doves at the end of the movie are real, for example. This would be consistent with DADoES in which some animals are much more rare than others. In the book, Deckard checks rarity and prices of real animals in his “Sidney’s” book.
