The Electric Sheep Screensaver

Electric Sheep is a free, open source screen saver run by thousands of people all over the world. It can be installed on any ordinary PC or Mac. When these computers “sleep”, the screen saver comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as “sheep”. The result is a collective “android dream”, an homage to Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

Electric Sheep (Oveja Eléctrica) es un salvapantallas open source ejecutado por miles de personas en el mundo. Puede ser instalado en cualquier PC ordinadrio o Mac. Cuando los ordenadores “duermen”, el salvapantallas se activa y el ordenador se comunica con otros en Internet para compartir el trabajo y crear animaciones abstractas con morphing conocidas como “sheep”. El resultado es un “sueño androide” colectivo, un homenaje a la novela de Philip K. Dick, Sueñan los androides con ovejas eléctricas.

Sorry Paul!

Today morning I did it. “Future Noir” of Paul M. Sammon under my arm. To the print house. “Please, CUT IT” I asked. The book was cutted along the spine to remove it and leave all the pages free! WHY? Oh… hehe… I wanna scan all the pics inside! This heavy book is impossible to put in a scanners without break it, thus… I BREAK IT!
Yes… all have a cost. I bought two new copies three days ago in Amazon… I’ve cutted the “old” one I have readed… 
Esta mañana lo hice. “Future Noir” de Paul M. Sammon bajo mi brazo. A la imprenta. “Por favor, CÓRTALO” le he dicho. ¡El libro ha sido guillotinado a lo largo del lomo para quitarlo y dejar las páginas libres! POR QUÉ? Oh… jeje…. ¡Quiero escanear todas sus imágenes! El libro es demasiado grueso para colocarlo en un escaner sin romperlo, así qué… ¡LO HE ROTO!
Si… todo tiene un coste. Compré dos nuevas copias hace tres días en Amazon…. He cortado la copia “vieja” que ya había leído….
